Well built caltrop. Scattered them out on unused back drive to slow down the riffraff long enough for the sheriff to get there. They would be better if hollow or if they had a slit in them so that the air escaped from the tire faster. They are not visible in grass and very hard to see on a gravel drive if you work them into the gravel a bit.

These are LARGE. They will puncture any tire. Rusty color makes them harder to spot. The rust does not affect its ability to puncture, and the welds are extremely strong. These will take out big rig tires and shred them. I dont know why one reviewer wants "Hollow points", THOSE SIMPLY MAKE IT SAFER TO SLOWLY LEAK THE AIR OF THE AFFLICTED VEHICLE SO AS TO NOT CAUSE CRASH IE HIGH SPEED PURSUITS. Hollowed out tubes only function to protect the driver. These, if my calculations are correct, will completely sever the tire making a very FAST and EFFECTIVE stop of the offending vehicle(s)* *I feel they are built so solid they will fall off after destroying one tire, and be ready to take on the rear wheel or another unfortunate vehicle until its picked up. These are holy S*** strong.

These are not suitable for the intended purpose. Puncturing a hole in a tire will not do much. The road stars should to be hollow (like the kind the OSS uses), in order for air to escape, so the tire will deflate. Furthermore, these are old and rusted, certainly not worth the price tag.
