I bought to just for looks and mounted it on a 2011 jeep sport. It fits perfect and looks awesome and actually does pull in more air. Just mount it the way it is on the box, because it looks cooler and because the way the jeep is designed it functions better that way. The wind hit the windshield and bounces off and gets pulled into the vent. Check out the forums and they confirm it works better mounting the scoop towards the window. Its made of quality plastic and matches the black trim on the jeep.

I was skeptical when ordering this product for my boyfriend. He had e-mailed me a link that this is what he wanted.... i was nervous because the price was so cheap that when we got it, it would also be cheap. I WAS WAS WRONG. First of all the really protected the package making sure that it was not damaged. Second of all the product looks great on his Jeep. He has a Jeep Wrangler in Yellow and this black just fits it so well. I would recommend this product to anyone. It also ships very quickly. :)

fits well. good 3m brand auto adhesive. easy install. wouldn’t recommend installing with opening facing rear bc leaves get in there and it makes it hard to clean out, plus the way that its shaped it would fit right on the base. it would hang over slightly, so be sure to test fit it before you pull the covers off the adhesive strips. air flow to my heat/ac was slightly improved, but not drastically. it does look cool and keeps leaves and mud etc out of the air intake. its a kind of glossy black. i would’ve preferred a flat black as an option. didn’t bother painting mine. the sun may do that over time anyway. I’ve had mine on for thousands of miles now and its still looking good and sticking well.

I mounted this with the opening facing the window. Apparently there is debate on which way to face the opening. I wanted to keep rain and debris out of the vent opening and this seems to do the job. As with all 3M™ taped objects, be sure to clean the surface you are adhering this to with alcohol before installing.
