It works fine, but yesterday when i wanted to unplug it, the head came out, but the drive was still in the computer. Now I can't use it, is really hard to unplug it because the metal part is so small that you can't grab it well.

This product was so cute and my teen loved it. We are both IT people so no chance we used it incorrectly or contributed to its' demise. After using since Christmas (appx 1.5 months) it is no longer recognized by any computer. WHAT A WASTE OF MY HARD-EARNED MONEY. Don't have original packing slip, don't have original packaging, so can't return it.

I recently purchased this flash drive. I have had no problems with it, but I did recently lose the little Panda's body. I called Emtec and they are shipping me a replacement part at no cost and the man I spoke with was very very helpful. He was very friendly and only required that I email him.

When I received my adorable little penguin flash drive, I wasn't sure what to name him. Private? Rico? Kowalski? Skipper? Would my friend get the reference? She had to, because I also bought one for her. Nothing says "I want to date you" like a tiny rubber penguin wrapped around 4 GB of flash drive.

Pros: It works, looks cute, and when you're stressed you can behead a penguin repeatedly (it feels good)

Cons: Doesn't get the message across that you want to date her, unless you include that in a file saved to the drive.

We've quite a few commitments and I was quite bored of writing on the flash drives with fine tip permanent markers, so when I saw these ones, I immediately bought them. One foreword, we are Mac freaks, but one of our macbooks also runs Windows on its partitioned hard disk. So far, since September, we've not had any trouble at all with them. We've saved and erased items a hundred times, large files as law school lesson audios to small files such as word documents. The turtle and the fish have been working hard since day one and are still going. Recently, the turtle lost its head, like another customer said, but I've had no trouble pulling the actual flash drive out of the computer. However, I have very small hands (I wear mittens that are smaller than my six year old's ones) so maybe it was easier for me to do so, than the lucky average sized hand. Now that new animals are available, I'll order some more.

I read some reviews that this would not work with a Macbook Pro. When I first plugged it in, it would not work. However, I plugged it in a 2nd time & left it for a few minutes, & the macbook recognized it. It worked fine.

its a great usb device. I dont understand why they dont have larger gigs for these guys, its not hard to do. but the rubber ring on top of the penguins head was a piece of junk. broke the second hour it was on the key ring. I modified it by making my own metal keyring, looks nice too, and waaaay more durable. so cute, and if you are super gentile to your keys or whatever your attaching it to, then its great. but its difficult to keep it unbroken.
