My pool heater is a 12-year old H-series Hayward. When it started to rattle, knock and shut down I knew that the bypass and thermostat needed replacement. It's quite the pain to open the heater manifold, and much to my dismay the flimsy bypass in the heater had broken into pieces. The bypass valve was heavily corroded and the thermostat was barely working, again corrosion. These O-rings fit and sealed the plumbing perfectly. Along with the new thermostat and bypass kit, my aging heater is now running like new.
