I wanted to pull a teardrop camper with my Mazda Miata, but all the hitches in reverse/upright position, kept the ball too low for the trailer to tow level. This solved it. At their web site, they give hints how to accurately measure for the drop/rise you need to buy. Don't forget to factor in the height of the ball. Not too big and husky for a petite car either. Works as a bumper guard too.

I bought a CURT Class-II hitch for my wife's car as we needed something to haul our bikes. I had originally ordered a Curt Class-II mount for the this purpose. Big mistake. Well, maybe just an ordinary mistake. As far as I can tell, most Class-II mounts are solid and tend to fit loosely into the hitch. This causes the bikes on the rack to severely yaw back and forth like a pendulum. I would have sworn they were going to rip something off, safety strap be dammed. Easy fix? Yep! I picked up this Class-I mount (hollow) along with the Curt 2315 Anti-Rattle kit which comes with a nut on a sleeve that goes into the mount and then a threaded bold to tighten the mount to the hitch. Rock solid and zero yaw. It's now as solid as it was on my old Explorer's bumper mount. Would recommend, even for normal Class-I towing. ;-)

The right height and depth for attaching a small trailer with 8" wheels to a Sebring convertible. Did have to slightly file down just the very end so it would slide into my receiver - but can't tell if that was due to a problem with the mount or the receiver - perhaps it was extra paint accumulation on the end of the mount. Note that you have to buy the locking pin separately so order one together with the ball mount or else pick one up at a U-Haul dealer. Locking pins come in different sizes so get the right match.

I searched for a bit to find a solution for my rzr. The majority of the ball hitches do not have enough length to clear the muffler & heat shield on the back of my 2015 rzr 900. This clears well & adds enough height so my trailer is level when pulling.

When I needed a hollow-shank ball mount to go with the Curt anti-rattle kit, I called Curt to determine one; Curt customer service told me that ALL of their Class I ball mounts are hollow shank. Not so, this one arrived solid shank. READ THE DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY.

I drive a 2006 Ford Escape, rated for 3,500 lbs max towing with a 3.0L V-6, if you know an Escape it has a high ground clearance. I had installed years ago a Class II hitch with a 1 and 1/4 inch receiver. Recently I purchased a motorcycle trailer for a trip to Sturgis but could not find a drawbar with enough drop anywhere in St. Louis, best I found was a 3 inch drop.

Went online and found Curt Industries, made a few phone calls and got hold of a great guy in tech support who steered me to their 6 inch drop drawbar. With his assistance I ordered said drawbar directly from them and received it in a few days.

It's a perfect fit and meets exactly the need I had, with the proper drop my Harley trailered perfectly. When I got back from the trip I went to our premier trailering company in St. Louis and told them what I had found, they were most pleased with the info and placed an order for their inventory.

This hitch mount fits looser in the receiver than I anticipated. The receiver is from U-Haul and in my belief, pretty good quality. I'll shim it with some tape, but not as good as I expected.

Also, the pin is not very tight.

Awesome. I have a car and the standard hitches they sell at auto store to not have enough lift on them. Making my boat point nose down. I got the one with a 5 inch lift and it is perfect. A Kia pulling a 18 ft aluminum Starcraft boat.
