I bought these (actually I bought 2 packages of these) to make Rose hip jelly. I have no idea how to make it, just know that I love it and that it is very expensive. Soaked 1 package in a gallon of water and got such lovely juice! After straining, through a sieve, I soaked them again. After trying coffee filters, 2 more sieves, I got a package of jelly bags (Norpro 615 Jelly Strainer Bags, 2 Piece Set) which I recommend. Got beautiful juice. I made my jelly, it is a little runny but delicious. I am going to try again with the 2nd bag in a few months using some apple juice. In the mean time we are very happy with our runny jelly.

This is one of my new favorite teas. It's a beautiful color and is pleasantly sweet and floral, and full of vitamin C. Rosehips of course can be easily harvested if you have organic, or wild, rosebushes available to you. But, living in the city these are hard to come by, so I appreciate being able to purchase them.

The product also arrived quickly.

They seem to have done a good job of cleaning them from what I can tell so far. You get a lot for your money and don't have to do the hard work of removing the seeds yourself. I like the resealable bag they come in. The quality is good and the price is too.

This arrived in nice, secure packaging. These rose hips have a very nice, light flavor. There were quite a few seeds and stems in the batch, which was annoying. The price (which was $16 when I ordered it, as of now it is $12) is not bad for a pound of organic rose hips.

Rose hips are very high in vitamin C and make a great cold preventive tea. Just add raw echinacea honey and a tablespoon of brandy. (optional) These also make great treats for chinchillas & are a lot safer and healthier to give to them than dried fruit.

I want to give this product 3 1/2 stars because of the stems and seeds, but if you like the benefits of rose hips and can get it for the lower price, it is worth it.
