one of the pegs broke that held the strings in at the very bottom while tuning, litterally snapped off. Now I have to go back to see if I can get my money back for this piece of garbage. However I give this 2 stars because before it broke it played wonderfully. But now it's broken.

I've been eyeing this model for quite some time after a friend scored one in a pawnshop.

As other reviewers have noted it is *heavy* (relative to its size and other ukuleles) ,and I'm going to be making a simple strap for it so its easier to play standing.

Installing the bridge was a snap, and I appreciated having the Aquila strings.

It has a bright and loud tone and is a beautiful instrument.
