When used with the flexible points, this for me is the ideal way to frame works on paper under glass. They can be bent back to remove work and bent into place again when work is returned to the frame. They are flat and stay in place well.

This point driver worked very well for me.I saw some bad reviews about this product and I am wondering if they got a lemon that does not work (which happens occasionally with some products made in China, e.g. my brand new China-made RCA TV just conked out!). So far the driver worked every time I used it and I don't see any reason why it will not work in the future.I noticed however, that you have to use it on a flat surface(like keeping the frame on a hardwood or stone floor), hold it firmly against the frame, and use it on a frame made of plastic or wood. It is possible that the points may not go into a very hard plastic or wood. I am quite happy with it so far and will update in case the driver fails in future.

I am not pleased with this product. I have to pull the trigger at least 10 times before the point even acts like it will go in the wood. I have tightened the adjustment screw but its like the driver head slides over the point and doesn't make contact. I wish I would have read the other reviews before purchasing.

I purchased this item and found it works fine- no jams, no failure to drive. It certainly beats the manual method of old but when using the points in older vintage wood frames, the force of this driver separates the corners of the frame. That is even with me holding the frame tight. I'm going to buy the "flexible points". I have a hutch that my points are too stiff.
