I love peppermint bark and Trader Joes but it just good and not great. I have had other peppermint barks that taste wonderful. These were super bulky and big chunks of peppermint candy. I prefer others where it's on the thin side and slivers of peppermint.

All Peppermint Bark is not the same. Trader Joe' is one of the best on the market. Since I wasn't able to get to a store is sure was nice to have the option to order it on line. The package arrived on schedule and I have been enjoying it ever since.

I'm sure it was a fluke and not everyones experience, but mine came with the tin plastic-sealed, but inside the candy was unwrapped and looked like someone had stomped on it. thankfully amazon gave me my refund.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be hard as a rock. I love Peppermint Bark and decided to try this brand as I never have before. My favorite Peppermint Bark is by Ghirardelli, and my least favorite is this one by Trader Joe's. The bark is cut in bigger squares and put in sealed plastic bags in small stacks. The plastic was really hard to open, I had to cut it open with scissors. I tried to break off small pieces like I did with the Williams Sonoma bark, but this bark was too hard to break off. So I took a bite, and I had to bite really hard. I don't want to eat any more because I'm scared of breaking my teeth or making my dental work come off. I'm going to ask the seller about this. But I know I will never buy this brand of bark again. I wasn't that impressed with the Williams Sonoma bark either, so I will just go back to the Ghirardelli, what I know I love. I wish this stuff was available year round so I don't have to buy it at exorbitant prices online during the off season.

I bought this in Trader Joes in houston and I was pretty disappointed with it. I guess I thought because of the price (over $10), it would be fabulous, but it really lacks peppermint flavor. It is just milk chocolate on bottom, with a layer of white chocolate on top, and some peppermint pieces sprinkled on top. I thought that the white chocolate would have peppermint flavoring in it, but it didn't. If I took the peppermint pieces off, it wouldn't be peppermint bark anymore because there wouldn't be any type of peppermint flavoring. Very disappointing for a Trader Joes product!

Very nice Holiday package & moderately large amount of product. There are layers of chocolate, white chocolate dotted with peppermint chips. I have tried many versions of peppermint bark, and this one is much like the others. There must be a problem when the solid peppermint candies are broken up with a release of the essential oils, and subsequent loss of flavors. This item also does not have a very strong peppermint taste, nor does it have a strong chocolate or white chocolate taste. It was just OK and like the other products I have purchased like this in the past.
