I'm British, and really miss my Walkers cheese & onion crisps. I was so excited to see that Amazon were selling them through Online Stores, so I ordered 3 six packs (18 packets in total). This also made it more economical as the shipping fees for just ordering the one six pack was almost as expensive as the crisps themselves. As these crisps have a shelf life of 8 weeks, I was sure that I would be able to consume them in time even if they only had 4 weeks left to go.

My crisps took a week to arrive (which was fine), but all of the packets only have 8 days left on the "Best Before" date. I'm so disappointed, as the freshness won't last until Christmas.

The crisps themselves are delicious, but it would really help if Online Stores disclosed the "Best Before" date when customers place their order. That way it would avoid people like myself from being so disappointed, or having to consume 18 packets of crisps in just 8 days!

These chips are very tasty with more of a oniony kick than American sour cream and onion chips. A lot of onion. I noticed that some people are complaining about the chips being expired and I wonder if there is a confusion with the way the UK writes expiration dates vs. American expiration dates. In the UK, it is the date followed by the month and then the year (e.g. November 7, 2012 =7-11-12). I know that those from the UK already know this, so maybe some of the chips are just expired. I don't know. Just trying to help someone who might make that mistake and throw away perfectly good crisps.

When I saw these I started drooling. I ordered immediately! I was waiting impatiently for my six bags to arrive, and when they did, I couldn't stop myself from eating two immediately. Soooo good! *sigh* I wish the bags were bigger! I want to subscribe to these, they are up there with prawn flavoured crisps. Who am I kidding, they are better!

Yes, I will order more, or move back to the UK, whatever is most convenient...

Wish they would make Lays in the flavor (Walkers is the same company as Frito Lay). These are very tasty and this small bag is perfect for a mid-day indulgence. Shipping to the USA from the UK took less than 10 days! Amazing this global economy we live in!

Have been a fan of UK shows for most of my life. Since the internet makes it easy to buy snack foods from around the world...why not? Walkers Cheese and Onion is the equivalent to Lays sour cream and onion in the States. In fact Walkers is just the name Lays uses in the UK. Thy're called Poca in Vietnam. See Wikipedia for more of Lays other names. The nutrition information was different than the US's, but I think they were 500 calories per bag. The bags were smaller than average US bags of chips, but that's us Americans for you. I looked on the back of a bag of Lays and found there are 2-3 servings in a typical $1.50 bag from a gas station, so the calories about match up. The chips were more crispy than Lays US chips. The flavor was a strong cheese and a milder onion. The onion was a good mix with the cheese.

I don't know what it is about Walkers that makes it just SO much better than Lays. I'm assuming they are the same company cause of the logo, but Walkers are just so much better. The chip itself has a better flavor. Then the cheese and onion flavor is just the right amount of saltiness to it. Not overly salty or oily at all. I love the cheese and onion and Ketchup flavored chips. I highly recommend them!

Once you taste crisps from England you can never go back to the boring variety that is produced in the US of A. Try a few flavors and write your own review.

I ordered these as a gift. I was a little late getting the order in and was presented with a 28 day delivery estimate. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in just two weeks, in time for my partner's birthday. I ordered the extra cheese and onion because that is what she really likes.
