I bought two of these for my Eureka bagless vacuum. I had been disappointed when I first purchased the vacuum cleaner because the filter basically needed to be cleaned or replaced every time I used it. This, of course, cut into the convenience I was hoping for in not having to deal with vacuum bags. I was pleased to find these listed on Amazon and they're an affordable solution. Now when I vacuum, I simply rinse the filter I was using afterwards. Fast, no more fine dust floating everywhere, great price. No complaints!

Update: February 2013. I have now owned these filters since October 2010. They are still holding up strong and as effective as ever.

I ordered the Crucial Vacuum Eureka DCF-10 & DCF-14 Washable and reusable filter to replace all the disposable filters that I have to continually buy for my vacuum cleaner. I have had this vacuum cleaner for approximately two years. When I first brought it home it worked superbly. However, once I had to replace the filter I noticed that it did not fit the same way the original filter did, thus it lost some of it's power. We have two cats and a dog, and I vacuum every day. I noticed that it wasn't picking up debris like it had. I ordered the reusable filter just to give this vac another chance. I installed the filter and turned on the vac. . . WOW. First of all the filter fits like a glove! Secondly, it restored the suction power of the vac. Now my vac works just as it did when it was straight out of the box. Don't think twice about it. . . make sure of your model number and just order the reusable filter. It's super easy. Once I'm done vacuuming, I remove the filter and clean off the debris that has accumulated and then a little soapy warm water and a good rinse, let it dry and place back in the vacuum. If I had known all of this I would have ordered it a long time ago. I'm very happy.

I purchased a couple of extra of these so I don't have to clean them until I am ready to do it. This way If the vac filter seems clogged(happens quickly) I just pop in a new one and later wash the dirty one.

This filter works great and I prefer it over the one that came with my Eureka vacuum. The original filter was very soft and papery compared to this one which is much more rigid and durable. I wash it after almost every use and it is easy to clean. Had it for probably about a year now and is still working great.

hooray for washable filters! we use baking soda on the carpets before vacuuming and that can really wreck a filter. It's super easy to clean the filter after every use and makes the vacuum work like new!

I rate this 5, --because ,--- not because I love it, ( how can you love a filter? :-)
But--- it does the job! Someone donated a older vacuum cleaner to our church, but the filter was old , dirty, ( a paper one)- and it had no suction power. However, all it needed was a new filter! I found the model number, and as always, Amazon had a filter to match.
Now, it works great. The product was sent within a short time, and we got the vacuum working just fine. And, what is great about it, ---- this new one is washable, and reusable, so, this is exactly what we needed.
