I bought these earphones for my new iphone 4 in hopes that the sound quality would be superior to other earphones I have bought for my ipod. After only 1 use, one of the earphones is (apparently) busted. I hear annoying static the higher I turn up the volume. While they did sound good for 1 use, they didn't sound much better than the numerous other $10-$15 earphones that I have owned (which I have NEVER busted a speaker in by the way, and I prefer the volume almost maxed out). And especially not for a $40 price difference. I guess that's what I get for spending $55 on earphones. Never again!

I ordered the iP-395 for my husband after he complained about his old headphones being uncomfortable. A close friend of ours swears by Maximo, and so I picked up a pair of the iP-395 to give them a shot. After finding the right eartip, my husband now swears by them. Comfortable, great sound, and a microphone to boot. He's not much of an audiophile, but that doesn't mean he's not particular. He loves his iP-395's and uses them all the time. Consider us impressed.

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas, she loves then, but I think I use them more than she does...I think I need to get another pair.

great headphones! i was expecting less but was actually pleasantly suprised at the sound quality. the noise reduction with these was also a surprise, which was probably more a result of the ear buds fitting very snugly but non the less they blocked out alot of noise.
