So many mixed emotions about this product. On the one hand, the concept is fantastic and one would think this would be a slam dunk. Tape AND drape? Together at last! No more need to exhaustively tarp everything and muss around with the tape, worrying about gaps. Just tape it and you're done.

And then reality sets in.

First of all good luck keeping the tape from sticking to the drape when you're unrolling it. This would be a larger problem but for the fact that the tape isn't tremendously sticky to begin with. Good for not sticking itself, not so good for not sticking that well to the walls. Tearing off sections are also complicated because while the tape is easy to rip, the drape is a little less so, and as they're attached, well you'll be fumbling with it trying to keep the sticky part off the drape. Scissors would be easier to cut it with of course, but it's a pretty wide piece of plastic that doesn't always cut so well.

The bottom line is that the concept is fabulous. Execution is way short of that.

The idea is good, but the execution is poor. The tape keeps tearing as you try to unroll it, it's extremely poor quality and barely sticks to anything. Most frustrating experience ever! We ended up using only the plastic cloth with regular painter's tape to cover the floors. Just stick to the regular method of normal tape in one hand, cloth in the other, rather than pull your hair out with this product.

I used this to tape off areas on my car where I was applying plasti-dip. It goes on quickly and is easy to use. Going around corners is tough at times because the tape will fold and crease if you don't have just straight edges. But I don't find this to be too big of a deal.

With the tape attached, it is a cinch to to apply a protective border prior to taping. The tape has not damaged any of the surfaces I have taped. So far, I have used it to tape of moldings and also some sections of cabintry. Easy application and easy removal

the only problem i had was because it was kind of expensive, i didnt use it as often. Sometimes i would just use newspaper and tape to cover up my car for projects. i know i am defeating the purpose haha.

Used this to tape off and cover my windows when painting the walls, as well as for protecting my carpet while painting the trim. I was surprised that it stuck so well to the carpet. When taping off to paint the trim, I unrolled about 2 feet at a time, laid it close to the edge of the baseboard, pulled it taught and pushed it under the boards just a bit. It completely protected my carpet and stayed stuck. Two things though: when pulling out the drape, hold the tape in place. Sometimes the drape gets stuck, depending on how you laid it down. Also, for the entire 75' I had the tape tear 2-3 times near the end. This was remedied by making sure I pulled straight off the roll. All in all a great product, will buy again!

The idea of this is so awesome. But let's be perfectly honest and admit that as much as I wanted to dance a jig over finding the coolest new thing under the sun, the tape is just plain NOT STICKY. Think Post-It Notes. Though it is blue, this just ain't the blue tape.
