I needed a bed to keep the cats from walking all over my bed at night. I wasn't sure if they would use it. Both cats started using it the first night. Sometimes they both sleep in it and sometimes they "fight" over it. Guess I will need to buy another one. It is very cushy and the cats like to lie up against the side. I haven't tried to wash it yet. The bottom cushion lifts out and the interior bottom is of a vinyl like material. Seems easy enough to clean when needed.

Over the past few months I have purchased three of these beds for our cats. The are very soft warm and I have washed the cushion ( by hand) with no problem. I was surprised at how much the cats like these......usually cats are unimpressed by anything intended for cats ( when there is a nice soft WHITE sofa to sit on, who wants to sleep in a pet bed?) but they all hopped right in and curled up. Getting one for each avoided arguments.... and they DID argue about who got the bed! Great item.

After nearly a year of constant use the beds were pretty mangy so I did decide to wash two of the beds in my washer ....they're fine! Washed them on delicate cycle, with extra high water level and minimal soap ( I was afraid it might not wash out well).....tossed them in the dryer with a couple of tennis balls...took them out when almost dry and left them in the sun for the day to finish; they look nearly like new! I had washed the cushions before with the same results...looks just fine.

This small, sturdy bed came incredibly fast and my dog LOVES it! It is incredibly soft and thick for optimal puppy comfort. I like that the colors are neutral so it doesn't stand out too much. Also, the pad comes out of the bed for easy cleaning and it has held up in the washing machine without getting lumpy. I LOVE it.

Well my cats freaking fight over who gets to sleep in it, so on behalf of their opinion, 5 stars. To help with sizing, I bought the 20 inch diameter one, which fits my giant cat in it with room to spare (Hes about 15 pounds) and could easily fit my 8 pound cat in it with him if they werent "Until death to we kill each other" enemies. What Im trying to say here is, this bed will probably fit 2 more reasonably tempered cats very nicely, or one morbidly obese cat, or like 18 kittens. Its super plush, and the little pillow does come out for cleaning, though be forewarned, no zipper. I have not tested the stability of this cushion in the washer thus far. It also has little anti skid dots on the bottom which will help keep it in place. Unless its on your desk and your cat decides to lean all of his body weight on one side of it to clean himself...right off the edge of the desk. My cat is an idiot, by no fault of the bed manufacturer. Good value bed.

Our cat is infinity beyond difficult.

We put together the largest, plushest "cat tree" eight months ago. He climbed it ONE time---to look into the side of our 400-gallon marine aquarium at the large fish. He soon lost interest in the fish and has never climbed the treehouse again. I buy the most expensive toys (flashing track balls, squeeking mice, tunnels etc. etc.). The cat does not discriminate. He ignores them all and my wife keeps telling me "I told you so."

I bought this bed. The cat ignored it completely for three weeks and my wife repeated her usual taunts. The cat had his own private back bedroom where he sleeps between the soft pillows on the bed. But after three weeks the cat tried this bed and he's been hooked on it ever since. He ignores his private room and comes straight to this bed every night for many weeks. This is the only thing I've ever bought him that he has approved of and actually uses for the long term (so far). One note: the cat started using the bed when my wife pulled back the sliding closet door in the corner and put the bed inside---with the door slightly ajar. Possibly he was hooked by the combination of the bed's comfort and his feeling that he was inside of his private cubby hole.

I initially purchased two for 2 of our smaller dogs, one 9 lbs, the other 14 lbs. I have purchased many dog beds in the past and carefully assessing the quality/price/longevity. Bottom line my dogs who are very finicky love them. They are quality, high end dog beds that are attractive enough that I can keep our in family room. I just purchased two more - for family room and bedroom. Recommend highly,(Note: I especially like these beds because my one dog, Tonka, loves to take a dip in our clorinated fountain and snuggle on the couch pillows - now she goes directly to her bed!)
