Every spoon and egg in this set have large black typing on them. It reads, "orientaltrading.com BS438 0513 MADE IN CHINA" and it looks terrible! (See photo.) It's the first thing you see, and it screams CHEAP. It is a shame because without the lettering these eggs and spoons would be adorable. The sizes and colors are just right. My four-year-old is able to walk with an egg on a spoon with great care, so I think they'd work well for most ages. However, I'm going to look for a different option for our Easter brunch. Or there's always spray paint....

Ordered this game for our PTA carnival and we were very happy with it! There are six different colored spoons with corresponding "eggs" - though they aren't really egg shaped, for us, that didn't matter. It was tons of fun and the kids actually loved it far more than we anticipated - it became a huge deal for them to race from one end of the gym to the other through different obstacles without dropping their egg. While definitely not egg shaped, that didn't bother the children and the one flat end actually made it more comedic as the children tried as many "tricks" as they could to win the game, even trying to stand the "eggs" on their ends. Great game, well-made and will last again and again at our carnivals! Love it!

Although my kids enjoyed playing with this, i wouldn't buy it again. the shape of the eggs were such that when they were standing up, they would not balance and its was almost impossible for adults, let alone kids, to race with them across any surface. when they were lying down, it was much easier to race.

As others have said, this is a nice set, but better if used on carpeting or outside because it is wood. The spoons remind me of wooden cooking spoons, but are painted. The painting is nice, but look cheap with the Oriental Trading Company name quite large on each item. They should have marked their name on the bottom of the egg and not the side. I can see where you might want to paint over it with outdoor spray paint.

Seems like a quality set, but the writing makes it sort of tacky. I still would buy again.

These were a hit at our bbq. The spoons are regular wooden spoons painted in different colors. It's very easy if you lay the eggs flat so if you want a challenge, keep the eggs standing up right. Great puchase though.

I purchased this game for my son's 10th birthday party and it's SUPER easy because the eggs are flat on the bottom. It completely ruins the way the game is SUPPOSED to go. I would have done better boiling some eggs and putting them on regular spoons. At least then it would have been more realistic to a raw egg on a spoon game.

We used these during our community picnic and they worked great for the older children. Small children would have a hard time keeping the egg on the spoon. It was a challenge for the older ones to keep it on there for a long distance. Would definitely recommend these. They are colorful and the children loved playing with them
