I'm not necessarily wowed by the product, but it's a spoon rest, so I guess I shouldn't expect to be. I bought white because everything in the kitchen is a bright, clean white. The spoon rest is not quite as bright white as the picture shows, maybe it is the finish, but around the edges the color is very dull and almost yellow. It makes hte spoon rest look old and dingy. I'm sure it's going to get filthy while cooking, but I don't like hte looks of it enough to leave it out on the counter, so I'll be hiding it away in a drawer when its not immediately in use. I'm sure it will serve its purpose, protecting my counters, just fine.

I should have read the reviews! I just received this, and it's too small for my larger spoons! It would be fine for table spoons, I supposed, but it's not going to work for sitting on the stove to hold messy soup-stirring spoons.

This is much too small. It will fit a regular silverware spoon or fork but is much too small for common utensils you would use for meal preparation like a wooden spoon, or black plastic spoon. Color and glaze are fine, I just find the size to be almost useless.

It sits on the counter and you put spoons or other messy utensils on it. It does the job fine, but it's not very exciting. It does save messing up the counter top and it washes off fine. It is heavy enough to hold large spoons.

Pay attention to the reviews! The spoon rest is not made to hold a large cooking utensil, but rather better sized for a soup spoon. It's a decent quality, but just too small to be of good use for my cooking needs.

Its not large enough to hold my spoons without them falling off! Would probably work fine with a normal spoon, but all of my wooden and plastic spoons are too large and end up falling off due to the handle design (no groove). Choose a larger one!
