This cable is very thick since it is shielded and has thicker gauge wires. I bought this to replace a thinner cable that could not maintain a reliable signal at the same 20' distance. This cable is performing very reliably. The thickness of the cable is almost as thick as the HDMI plug, so this might not work for all uses where cable flexibility is required.

Normally don't write reviews, but I thought I would for this cable.

I gave it 5 stars because the cable itself is awesome. 50' from my dish network DVR to another TV and the reception is perfect. The cable is extremely well jacketed and appears to be able to take a beating pulling it through walls and what not.

However, because it is so well protected, it is also a PITA to bend. The bend radius might be 1' or so (2' circles) and because of that you do need to get little jumpers for both ends that you can work with, don't even pretend you can do it without a patch cable.

We used this cable for a long run (above a drop ceiling) from an A/V rack to a ceiling-mounted HD projector. It handled the 1080p signal perfectly! The cable is fairly thick (lots of shielding) and heavy which actually made it easier to route around obstacles and through narrow ducts.

This wire is of excellent quality. But you must keep in mind it was intended to be used in a situation of a long run or thru walls. And the 90 degree adapter would handle the strain.

The item was defective....the copper head came out of the wire....the wire was very thick and heavy...and very inconvenient to use...I tried to use this to connect my laptop with the TV but the wire being too heavy...I was very worried that the HDMI port of the laptop could harmed...So my suggestion....never ever buy this product...!!!!
