I'm trying to install these as I write this (a feat all in itself) and find it impossible with the supplied hardware. The drywall anchors supplied have screws too short to reach the back of the anchor when used with the rod hanging brackets so the screws never get tight in the hanger. Im off to the hardware store to try to find something to make it work.

EDIT: We ordered 4 of these total. The first two came in old cheap plastic packaging and did not have screws long enough to install them properly. The other two came in much much nicer looking cardboard packaging and TADA!, had longer screws included with the hardware. Id give the nicer ones with working hardware 5 stars!! Alas, since its a toss up, ill just go with an average of 4 stars.

I was looking for curtain holders that would be heavy enough to not sag in the middle. These certainly will not sag! The problem is that they are larger in diameter (both the finial and the rod itself) then I was expecting. Thankfully it looks fine with my application in a bedroom. But pay attention to the measurements here. The finial is the size of a tennis ball. The rod is larger than a broom handle.

It is difficult to find fat curtain rods in big-box stores, but when you do, they look really cheap. These look as nice as the ones that you find in the higher end retail stores. When paired with drapery eyelet rings in 1 3/4", the drapes pull open and closed with ease.

Wish they came in more finish options so I could buy them for other rooms in my house too!
