Great cello string

I wish I had or could've changed to this particular string years ago it's that much better than what I'd been using. The tone is brighter and the string responds much better.

Great experience!

Style Name: Medium Tension

I have a Man Claudiu cello from Stringworks and I've never been quite happy with the tone it produces. I disliked the strings that came on it and replaced them with a set of Evah Pirazzi strings. The cello still didn't sing. It sounded as though it was muted. I put a Kaplan A and D on the top end and WOW what a difference. I can't believe how much brighter the sound is and how it projects. The strings have real punch.... a bit screachy at first but really ring out. The harmonics are perfect and beautiful.

I also have a Kaplan A on my Heinrich Gill Rugeri model. (It came with it on it when I purchased it). At first I didn't like the string because it sounded somewhat brassy on that instrument but it has leveled to a beautiful tone without being way too bright (it is brighter than others I've tried)
