This counter is perfect for counting laps. I walk about 5 miles a day around an indoor track. I lose count in my head. So I bought this little blue counter. I have the metal version, but it is heavy by comparison. This blue plastic counter is a simple machine, light-weight, needs no batteries, and is very inexspensive.

Using it for grocery counter when I shop. Old fashioned clickers are no longer available for purchase. But this gadget does the job and works like a charm. Fits in the palm of hand and ring allows you to use both hands if needed without putting counter down.

I use this tally counter for two separate uses. The first use is because I can't afford a treadmill yet. I measured the length of our house, and walk back and forth doing laps from end to end. I can now walk a brisk half mile, with heavy water bottles in each hand. I would loose track of laps before I bought the tally counter. the merchant was problem free.......... no complaints.
the product worked for maybe 3 weeks - then started failing. it got the point that using it was more frustrating than not using it. stick with the more expensive metal ones. we've had one for years and it still operates very smoothly and accurately. wanted the abs to avoid rust since it is used near water and wet hands. i guess i'll go back to making sure hands are dry before using our metal one.

For years I had a chrome colored lap counter which I had bought at a health club. I used it to count laps on a circular track. Eventually, the item started to fall apart, and I feared that this was no longer available, since everything is now computerized. I checked on Amazon and discovered that the item not only still exists, but is now available in colors! I was ecstatic to receive it and begin using it. It is very lightweight and operates sooooo smoooooothly. I'm sure there are other uses for this type of counter, but this indoor track walker didn't need any other reasons to order this item.

After complaining about the first units I received, see below for my first review, ATAFA sent two replacement units right away. I am now satisfied that this product can work well. Someone who will be using the counter frequently should probably find a more robust counter, but this one suits my purposes quite well. I certainly recommend working with ATAFA, they are very responsive and helpful.
(I bought two of these units and both had the same problem. The day they arrived I found that not all presses of the trigger resulted in a "count." This would always happen immediately following the tens place changing over and occasionally at other times as well. For instance, it would take at least two presses to go from 10 to 11. I could look at the device at all times to make sure a press was registered, but that defeats the entire purpose.)
I should also mention that one of the units i thought was broken does seem to work well as long as I press firmly. Frustration with the first broken unit probably soured me on its working partner.
