I ordered some of these Quick Clots after slicing my leg, including an artery, doing yard work with a machete. I bled like you wouldn't believe. 911 was definitely called. I did not have any clotting material and was terrified. Next, I drilled a hole in my hand doing...well, drilling. A QC was applied. This time I was able to drive myself to the hospital and get not only morphine but reconstructive surgery. You may be thinking "This guy needs to lay off the tools." Trust me, I agree. However, the quick clot is an essential first aid addition and I strongly recommend that every household have two of these lifesavers. Those arteries are just sitting there thinking "I dare you to cut me like Tom did." OK that's a little far out. GET QUICK CLOTS TODAY.

Great thing to have in your grab and go bag or your home First Aid kit. They should put these in 1st Aide kits, because they can end up being a life saver. This one is about 2x2", in a seal pouch.

Part of "First Aid" is making sure your loved ones survive until "professionals" get there to take over. For a serious bleeding event, this product can be a life saver (my son just got back from the middle east, and he says this is in every combat pack). You only have to need it once, to realize how important it is. How much are your Kids and Grandchildren worth to you (to me, it's cheap at the price)? This goes with us everywhere.

There's no good reason not to keep these around. Anyone who has witnessed a bad bleed would be nuts not to have these in their kit. If you ever really needed one, you'd pay 10x the purchase price without a second thought.

Amazon description states: "QuikClot Wound Care Home BDG Pack 1 EA (PACK OF 4)" yet the description on the package states: "ONE 0.88 OZ (25g), 3,5X3.5 INCH (9X9 CM) MESH BAG". So there is a false, misleading description. That's why it only get's two stars.
