Exactly what my Daughter was looking for to carry her cell phone with ease, but it broke after 3 days. The Seller was nice enough to ship out a new one right away. That one didn't last long either. Despite that I still recommend this product, just not for very heavy Samsumng cell phones.

I use these lanyards for carrying my pocket cameras when I travel. Appears to have a sturdier more visibly secure connection, so there is less of a chance of dropping your previously detached camera, when trying to click it back onto it's lanyard. I have bought several of these and the connection ring size appears to be uniform as well so the lanyards may be interchangeable between cameras. If that is an important characteristic you'd like to have, I'd recommend you make your purchases 'of the same brand'. They would also be handy for your smart phone. Women like to use lanyards on phones as their phones have a tendency to disappear into their fully ladened, cavernous purses. They can just find the phone's tail and follow it through the cave to their phone, or better yet, leave the phone tail hanging out of the top of the purse so they can just grab and yank it right out of the cave. I find these lanyards handy, reasonably priced, oh, and they come in colors. And no, I don't carry a purse.

This was a great lanyards to use with my cell phone on vacation. I was able to wear my phone around my neck and have my hands free to hike, climb up rocks, and take pictures while whale watching and on a hot air balloon ride without worrying about losing/dropping my phone. I like that you can detach it if you want to also.

Great strap, but only if you get the real Reiko. You can tell by the fact the real Reiko comes with a cardboard tag and the metal ring contains an inner, free spinning ring. Also the spring release works much more smoothly than the counterfeits.
