I like these pens because they use a Cross refill (which means they write very nicely). I also buy them because they twist to open and close. I have a bad habit of clicking a pen in meetings and driving everyone crazy. So for several years I have been buying these pens. Unfortunately, they strip out every six months to a year. I will probably try a different brand next time.

I must say, for the low price of $9.99, I am very pleased with this pen! It's comfortable to hold and writes like a dream! I really hate to write with a crappy pen and would prefer to spend a few dollars to get a good one. This one is great! I highly recommend it to anyone that likes a quality pen! It writes as good as a Cross pen I own that cost more then twice as much, and is just as comfortable to hold. On top of all that, it's a better looking pen then the Cross I already had!

Being someone with a pen "problem" (always looking for the perfect pen) I find that this Covey is an exceptional pen for the money. The point-retraction is very smooth and the weight and balance in my opinion is nearly perfect. The cartridge (ball point and ink) quality is very good. This Covey pen offers slightly more rolling resistance (than for example a Bic), and starts dry (won't produce ink right away after sitting) however I've never seen it blob up, ever, and the ink flow is very consistent and smooth. It is my favorite pen for the moment.

Let me just get this out of the way first. The only thing I don't like about this pen is the tip is a little blunt instead of being a fine. Other than that buy it. It is made out of metal so it won't break easily. This pen is sweet. BUY IT!!!
