I was a little skeptical about how bright these could be given the low average current draw. However, these are exceptionally bright - emergency vehicles could no doubt use these (with enough of them wired together). I flashed myself in the eye the first time and was seeing spots for a while. People should have no trouble seeing these, even during the day.

Wiring is quite easy. The strobes have only four wires. At a minimum, two of them (positive and negative) will need to be connected to make the strobe flash. One of the other wires is used to select the flashing pattern (by momentarily connecting it to +12V), and the other is used to daisy chain strobes so that they flash in sequence.

Construction quality is good. The plastic case feels solid - it isn't cheap or brittle - and the back of device is covered in some kind of epoxy to waterproof it.

Works well, quite bright. Using it as an auxiliary brake lamp on the back of my motorcycle. Be careful of angle of mounting and of pattern selected. Can "blind" drivers behind you if not angled correctly. I wired a switch to front of bike to cut this light off if I see in my rear-view mirrors that is shining too brightly on driver behind me and for when on group rides.

Also, check laws in your state, may be unlawful to install on your personally owned vehicle in some jurisdictions.
