If you buy the ALPS Mountaineering Zephyr 1 Tent, you NEED to get this foot pad. If fits perfect and even has the buckles that clip to the ends of the tent to avoid your rainfly from blowing away from the tent frame. I have used this numerous times (in the PNW where we get quite the amount of precipitation) and it has held up great. No visibly signs of wear and tear yet, and definitely a great price for it.

The Zephyr 1 Tent and Floor saver work together like peanut butter and jelly. This thing is a must have for anyone getting the Zephyr 1. It simply clicks together with the tent, and you can pick the whole tent up with floor saver still attached.

Perfectly snaps into the rods for the tent and fits the plastic snaps for the tent itself so you have two ways it is attached to the tent. I have not yet tested this in the rain, but will be soon, I hope. Overall, with limited testing, I like it and since it is very light, and protects the tent's floor, I recommend getting it.

I suppose this footprint did its job, but it wore out on just the first night. I used it once and it got a hole in it. In a way, that's what it's supposed to do, but I expected a little more use out of it.

I've used it for two trips now, and havent had any problems. With that being said I was expecting this to be a little heavier duty. It's made out of the same material as the rain fly. So, it may be just fine, but it looks a little weak for a footprint.

Fits the tent nicely, and its pretty lightweight. It does feel somewhat thin and doesn't extend to the vestibule, but apart from that it works as advertised. It survived a wet incursion on an uneven surface, and also resisted tears from several sticks (set the tent up at night in a rush.) No rips, and held up nicely.
