This curtain valance is just what I needed to put curtains up under my sink and as well as a second kitchen cabinet. The fabric has a decent medium weight and thickness so that your cannot see through it. The color (blue) is attractive. There is a very subtle diamond design in the background but it looks solid at a distance. The curtain hangs well on the rod but I wish each of the two panels were just a few inches shorter to prevent the minor bunching of the fabric on the rod but keep in mind, I'm dealing with a nonstandard opening and not a window.
