I've been getting sick of propping my phone up on the edge of a book on my nightstand, so I "broke down" and bought myself this inexpensive, simple phone stand. I was afraid at first that the phone would slip and wouldn't stay upright on the stand. As soon as I placed my phone in the stand, however, it became clear that I had nothing to worry about. It does exactly what it's supposed to at a very low cost. Makes me wonder why I didn't buy one of these sooner. Now my mom is pestering me to get her one, too! A very good product for what it's designed for.

Stand works fairly well. I noticed if my phone is on the stand and it starts vibrating it starts to slide. It's never slid off but it looks like it could. I wrapped a rubberband on the bottom and back to prevent it from sliding.

this is by no means a top of the line phone stand/mount. It is made of plastic so it's not very heavy, although it seems pretty strong. For $5, it's a decent buy. It does the job and hold the phone vertically or horizontally.

- Shoddy craftsmanship. The plastic has places where the cut broke a small piece away
- Too light. It will tump over with no effort whatsoever with a phone it. So do not plan on using the touch screen of your phone as the entire thing will flip over backwards.
- Phone will not stay in it. A phone of any size will slide right down the front of it. I put in a couple of clear rubber stops to fix this which is when I figured out the above issue of it being too light.

It's terrible. Do not waste your money on it.

Too small. No ledge on bottom to keep phone from sliding off. The picture erroneously shows a 90 degree bend on bottom which it doesn't have. My Galaxy S3 has a curved bottom so it will also tilt to either side and fall off.

It's a cheap stand for a cell phone that doesn't do its job very well.
Unless your phone has a rubberized side or you own a case with grippy materials, your phone will simply slide off this stand.

Avoid this stand and buy another.

Be careful when you think about buying this stand. It's got a nice clean look to it, but it also has a fairly important design flaw - it doesn't want to hold anything. The problem is in the "shelf" bend angle. In the photo it looks like the angle should be just fine to hold just about any device you might want put on it, phones, ipods,..etc. In reality though, they failed to make the shelf angle steep enough. So whatever you try put on it tends to just slide right off. Should you decide to chance it, it could be that different lots may have different bends, (especially if they've realized the problem at the factory). The only way mine will work however, is to stick something along the front edge, which completely ruins the clean look. The simplicity of the design was part of the reason for wanting to purchase it in the first place.

I prefer clean modern design and this phone stand is exactly that: Simple design with simple materials that's still stylish, almost elegant. And for the low price you can't beat it. My Moto X -- great phone, by the way -- sits nicely in it, no slipping or wobbling at all.
