For a cricket fan like myself, this game is a huge relief. Now first let me start by informing you guys that this game is shipped from UK - where they use the PAL video output format. Here is USA we use the NTSC format. Simply put if you want to play this game in USA - you need a HD TV and a HDMI cable.

I was unable to play the game at first, and on doing some research regarding the error displayed by my PS3 - I found out that I need a HD TV and a HDMI cable. I did recently buy a 3D TV - and bought a couple of cheap HDMI cables online. But that did not help. I was about to return this game - but out of sheer luck I decided to try one of those expensive HDMI cables. I got the SONY HDMI cable($34.00) and I was indeed able to play the game. The graphics are good, commentary is very nice.

All in all 4 out of 5 stars for this game. Hopefully EA sports will follow suit.

Graphics: 3/5 - Stadiums look nice, Some buggy player models (Sri Lankan Players with Turbans :o)
Audio/Commentary: 5/5 - Great Job in getting several former players for doing the commentary in the game.
Physics: 2.5/5 - Physics need to be fixed - irregular ball bounce
Game Play:
- Easy Mode: Very Easy to Bat and Bowl
- Normal Mode: Very Easy to Bat, Medium Difficulty for Bowling
- Hard Mode: Medium Difficulty to Bat, Hard Difficulty for Bowling
- 3/5 - CPU Fielders drop many catches
Multi-player:
- 2v2: Awesome fun, love to play with friends, enjoyed a lot.
- Online: Did not try.
- 4/5 (Did not rate online play)
Overall - 3.5/5 - Nice Job by Codemasters + Trickstar Games, very enjoyable 2v2 game.

Seems like there aren't too many options out there for cricket games. Was really excited for this game, got it in Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport.

NOTE: THIS GAME IS IN THE PAL FORMAT. HERE IN THE USA WE USE NTSC. IN ORDER TO PLAY THIS GAME IN THE USA YOU NEED AN HD TV AND AN HDMI CABLE. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THOSE COMPONENTS.

Solid game, has all of the forms of cricket (Twenty20, ODI, and Test). The Australian and the English National teams have the actual players and kits. For the other ODI nations, the names bear a vague familiarity to the actual players, but they are all misspelled. The mechanics and the interface for the game is very intuitive and you can get used to it very quickly. This is a game that once you figure out how to play it, it becomes kind of boring because there is no way that the AI can beat you, even with the difficulty at hard.

The graphics are OK, but compared to the graphics of other sports games(American Football, Soccer, Basketball, etc.), International Cricket still has a lot of room for improvement. In general, the game is a solid start, but needs to be a LOT more work put into it to bring it up to comparison to other sports games.

Yes like all reviews said it`ll work in US format but only on HDTV .Old SD tv aren`t compatible with this game.HDMI cable, doesn`t matter, any brand is fine as i`ve three different tvs with different HDMI cables .In every unit work flawlessly. We play online within circle of friends and you can`t catch or runout online .Its just leap of faith .There is tremendous lag during catches so you can play aggressive without fear of getting catched as 8/10 it`ll be missed even if your timing is spot on.Otherwise not a bad game at all. They don`t have license so they are using fake names for players during 20/20.You can edit names or DL renamed file from internet .Game conatin all formats of 20/20 ,ODI ,test ,hawk eye limited over that can be reduced to 5 over ( Excellant )but missing new rule of "Challenge Umpire decision for review by third umpire" that rule introduced after game being releseas so probably that`ll introduce in 2014 game because that much time this game needed to gain profits because its not as hot product like Fifa ,Madden or NBA .

Batting seems very difficult so trick is :: Just choose shot direction and shot Selection ( X or o ) simultaneously when ball gets close to wickets and you`ll do fine .It took quite a while to figure out as training didn`t teach you this trick.

This is a great game for the casual and also hardcore cricket gamer. Despite what some reviews said
about the graphics not being up to par of the Madden NFL series, they do match up to Madden (I own
Madden and this game and don't see any difference).

The only cons for this game is that they only have officially licenses for the England and Australia
teams, so the other teams have similar, but not exact names for the players. Also the tutorials can
be quite challenging (they help to learn the basics, but it's easiest just to start playing a game).
The commentary is good, but kind of sparse and gets repetitive.

Also, for those in the USA, this game will work fine for a USA PS3 (most all PS3 games are region-free),
but you must use a HDMI cable for it to display on your HDTV (it won't display on an NTSC, USA TV, if you
are using regular video cables since it's video output is PAL)

The gameplay is very fun and trying to hit 6s and 4s is very fun and bowling and catching are easy
to pick up. Overall, a very fun game for those not familiar cricket, but also for hardcore cricket gamers.
