so I don't have bed bugs but I do have allergies. I still have to change my pillow case every other day but I don't have to wash my pillow every week. Just the cover. I find that helpful.

It's not crinkly like some covers are...where you can hear them or feel them under the pillow case. I really can't even tell which pillow it's on (I have two identical pillows from when I had to wash my pillow ever week to keep my allergies down) when I have pillow cases on both there's no difference in the feel between the one with the cover on it and the one without. The zipper isn't even noticeable!

So the sensitive head can buy this and feel confident that their dreams won't be troubled with crunchy uncomfortable pillow protectors. Rest assured.

I bought this protector to cover the Medifow Original Waterbase Pillow. This pillow protector does not open completely, the zipper is about 95% extended side to side on the pillowcase so I had problems getting the waterbase pillow (water already added) into the pillowcase protector. Luckily, the waterbase pillow itself fits standard pillowcases so I only change my regular pillowcases weekly and do not bother with the protector. If the protector was completely extended from one side to another, it would be no problem and I would have given it a higher rating.

This is not a very high quality cover. It's kind of starchy, and the zipper feels very thin and like it will break very easily. I'm not sure it's worth the money. The ones they sell in BBB are much higher quality.

I don't understand all the glowing reviews about this product. The pillowcases that I thought I was ordering was described as size 20"x28" as advertised besides the product pictured on Amazon. However, when reading the product description the size is listed as 10x8x?. Moreso, the true size of pillowcases that I received are 19"x27" and the zipper stops 1/4" from the end of each pillowcase. A waste of time for me and I still don't have pillowcases for my 20"x28" pillowcases.

but these two item was not matched, the protector size was a little bit small,
it can't use with the water pillow, it waste my money,

Although this pillow protector is advertised on the package as "fits Std, Queen, or Jumbo pillows," it can't reasonably fit over Jumbo or Queen size pillows.

Before washing, the pillow protector's rated size is 20 x 28". That is already a bit too short for Queen sized pillows which are typically 20 x 30". After washing, the pillow protector's actual size shrinks down to 19 x 25". A Standard pillow is typically 20 x 26". So you can probably squeeze a Standard pillow down small enough to reasonably fit it into the washed pillow protector.

A Jumbo pillow is typically 20 x 28". So after washing, this 19 x 25" pillow protector is too short to fit a 28" long Jumbo pillow, or a 30" long Queen pillow.

The pillow protector is otherwise excellent. It has a nice crisp but soft percale cotton base material. It is rated at 240TC and feels substantial.

The stitching is a top-notch internal triple stitch that includes "wrapping" stitches that cross over the edges to keep them from unraveling. The stitching is nicely finished and all seams are tight.

There is no edge piping.

The zipper fits nicely in its own very shallow recess along one edge and is barely visible, if at all, when it is zipped up.

The zipper pull is a lovely little smooth-shaped streamlined type more commonly seen on high quality hotel pillow protectors (such as those seen at the Westin).

Each pillow protector weighs 110-grams / 3.9-ounces.

This pillow protector would be excellent, but I don't have any standard sized pillows to use it on. So I just wish they would fix the sizes.
