An inanimate womb for my Nikon camera's and Lens. The foam is very easy to form and craft, however plan very carefully because mistakes are fixable but use caution, save your foam! The case is lockable (I use medium Master 131T Locks) and also has a location for a shoulder strap if necessary. Construction is military grade and is, as stated, waterproof. I chose the light grey color, favoring black, however in the summer the heat and sun may cook the contents with black. I am very pleased with this purchase and from a standpoint of longevity it should last the life of the camera and protect the contents. By the way this case comfortabily fits my D90, Nissin Di866 Flash, Sigma 70-200 2.8, Nikon 18-105 3.5, Filters, Strap, Lens cleaners, and batteries.

When you need to take your best camera and atleast one lens, this case is ideal. I was also able to store external flash, replacement battery and cleaning tools for the camera. I liked bright orange so its easy to see. Worth every penny.

These cases are fantastic! I bought one for my new camera being I was traveling on a road trip and I knew it would be tossed around a lot in the RV we rented. I got one with dividers and they are very easy to customize. The latches are far superior to some of the other brands and this thing is solid as a rock!

Got this on a great deal - about $40. At that price it can't be beat. Nanuk cases are not quite as sturdy as Pelican, but have a much better latch design: they stay closed without requiring the force that Pelican latches require. The padded interior is thick around the edges (about 1") with half inch dividers. I use mine as a heavy duty case for 2 sets of binoculars - a bulky porro prism 7x50 and a small 8x25. The 7x50 is a snug fit. Using the long divider bent into a curve I can make 2 compartments. I also own a 925 and an 940 - both are excellent cases, though the 940 could benefit from side latches, as in the 945.

So far it seems to hold up well to weekly usage. There is no sign of bad qaulity. I have taken it outside when it was sprinkling slightly and there was no sign of moisture inside the case later. This is not a good test but better than none at all. You can actually put alot of books in it if you take out the foam, but the foam is nice to have if you want to keep things from moving around. I bought the strap seperately and it is more comfortable than any strap ive seen due to the air cushing, which really helps when this case is full of heavy books.
