I really like the shape of these headphones, and they are quite comfortable. They fit my 2-year-old well, and leave a lot of room for my almost-six-year-old to continue to grow into them. The cord comes out of just one side, making them easy for a young child to get on and off. The sound quality is good. The cord is really long. My only complaint, however, is that they DO NOT LIMIT the volume. When both ears are turned to the lowest setting, I'd say that the max output is probably around the appropriate level, 90dB. That's at the lowest setting, though. If a child starts playing with the knobs, it quickly goes up to an ear-splitting level. This is a quote from the product description: "While the headphone's drivers are of impeccable quality, their sound maxes out at a level that is suitable for children's ears." Completely untrue.

That said, I'm keeping the headphones. My kids are able to leave the knobs alone, and these are the best I've found so far (after three other tries). I will continue to search for something that truly limits the volume, fits a young child, and won't fall apart within a week.

I was a little hesitant to buy these because there was only one other review compared to the other kids headphones out there with a lot of reviews. BUT, these are great. I bought 2 pairs for my kids and they put them on right away with no complaints (they are 3 & 5). Each side of the headphones has a volume control, so you can control how loud the music gets which is nice, but we will probably just turn it all the way up, then control the real volume from the source. The cord is VERY long about 6-8 feet so the kids dont feel trapped when listening. They left on the headphones with no complaints. The real reason I chose these over other headphones is because of the soft cushioning on the speakers and I am not disappointed. It is a nice thick cushion that make them very comfortable for the kids. And heck, for this price I would definitely recommend these headphones!!

Our 20 month old likes these. I like that they don't get too loud and they are pretty comfy.
I don't like that they are pretty heavy for a little head.

They are well made though and worth the 12 or so bucks.

Pros:
Cheap in comparison to other similar headphones
Solid build quality and decent sound
Fits small kids as well as adults

Cons:
Sound can be bit bass heavy
Volume control for each ear isn't necessary and can be irritating if one ear is set slightly lower than the other

Bought these large to use with an iPad on a cross country car trip. For the price I was very impressed with the build quality(very durable). I have four boys all under the age of 8 and they have put these headphones to the test and so far they have stood up to the abuse. The cable is thick which should help protect it from breaking easily like so many other cheap headphones. They are also very comfortable to wear even for me. Was surprised actually that they fit my 3 yr old perfectly, yet adjust for an adult to fit them as well. Sound quality is decent, unlike some of the reviews I read, these have plenty of volume while still limiting the max output for littler ears. I did notice thought that the audio seemed a little heavy on the bass which can make speech in movies at times seem a bit unclear or rather muffled. Can be quite nice when listening to certain types of music though. To sum up I would recommend these to anyone with kids who want headphones that provide a comfortable fit and decent sound for a great price.

We purchased a pair of these headphones to take with us on a trip so our kids could watch movies on the plane. They fit both well (ages 2 and 4) and the sound quality was good. You can adjust the volume going to each ear piece, which is a nice feature. Overall we are happy with this purchase!
