Mini First-Aid Kit. Nifty.

Well, it doesn't amount to much as a first-aid kit, but I found this mini-kit at my grocery store and bought a couple. One is for the car glove compartment, the other is for my office desk. I've got bigger kits available at both locations, but these are real handy for those little unexpected cuts and scrapes Plus, it's so small you can easily carry it around in your pocket when hiking or something like that. The kit has cleansing wipes, gauze pads, some band aids in two different sizes, and it all comes in a little white plastic case. Nifty!

It didn't cost much and that's a good thing. Very cheap and no real medical supplies ...

It didn't cost much and that's a good thing. Very cheap and no real medical supplies but cheep band aides and gauze in the package. This is a definite "Do not buy." Spend a few bucks and just make your own.

Handy and a nice present in a number of circumstances

Cleaning out my house in preparation for selling, I found a number of first aid kits, almost all partially used. We've used them and replaced them for over twelve years -- they are generally available and practical. Quite small -- four inches square by one inch thick. There's enough room to add a tube of antiseptic and other "necessities".

Checking, I find two in my bathroom, one in my car and one in my pack. There are bigger ones, of course, but these are ubiquitous.

Also, they make a very nice gift when we have guests -- at a family reunion or just on hand when you want to give a small thank you present for a service provided. They have always been welcomed.
