not sure what the guy claiming cloudyness is talking about. i actually did a rushed job of rinsing this stuff, tossed it in a new aquarium, filled it up, and it was 90% clear with in about 5 hours... the next day it was crystal clear. ive probably dealt with about 20 different natural substrates over the years, and this one was actually the one with the least fines. idk if that guy got a bottom of the barrel bag or what.

The stones are very small. The colorations is fantastic. It shipped well, there is hardly any grit inside the bag, it is just the stones. I hate rinsing a bunch of aquarium rocks just to have little grains floating all over the place and I don't predict that happening with this stuff. I have a twenty gallon tank on its way. I bought two bags but I think I might need one or two more. Will for sure buy again.
UPDATE: Two bags not enough for 20 gallons, maybe 4 to 5 just fyi. I ordered only two and had to perchance similar but larger stoned ones at Wal-Mart (lots of rinsing if you do that). One of the bags needed little to no rinsing as where the other needed a few rinses. Which was fine for me but I know some people hate that. I have had the tank set up for a few weeks and was letting the tank adjust, making sure the temperature was good and all that fun stuff. I got some Diamond Tetra and a tinny little white Croy Cat yesterday and they are doing great. The Croy Cat isn't any bigger than an inch at the moment but he is able to pick up the small stones with his mouth to clean them. It was very exciting seeing him enjoy the tank which is double what he was in at the pet store. :D

I have rinsed it at 4 different times and it still looks cloudy. Looks nice, love the size but am changing it out, don't like a cloudy tank. I have tried many smaller cleanings also. cannot recommend it. Have been working on it 6 weeks.
