My sub woofer cable is a coax run in the wall to a wall plate on the sub side. In the media cabinet it is a standard male coax like for your cable/satellite wire. This threads in and turns the coax cable to a male RCA for the sub. Works great.

I returned the item because I was trying to convert a coaxial TV signal to an RC. Little did I know the signal is scrambled so you need a box that is supplied by the TV service. Alway trying to save money.

What a life saver - I used this to run a sub over COAX. Since the equipment is far way from the room I needed a cheap way of getting the single from the receiver to the sub - this allows you to use cheap COAX for this purpose. Works great.

Works perfectly and is well made. We lost the original RCA plug from an older model Protron TV and since they are out of business we could not find the Protron model. This one fits perfectly and works great!
