SOME OTHERS WHO HAVE WRITTEN REVIEWS OF THIS PRODUCT HAVE SAID THEY ONLY RECEIVED HALF THE ORDER, THAT IS, EITHER THE HOOKS OR THE LOOPS, 2" 10 yds Black Sew on Hook and Loop Velcro½ StyleNOT BOTH. BUT I THOUGHT IT COULD NOT HAPPEN TO ME.... ALAS AND ALACK, IT HAS: I RECEIVED ONLY THE HOOKS, NO LOOPS. THE HOOKS ARE USELESS WITHOUT THE LOOPS, OF COURSE.

THIS LEADS ME TO TWO CONCLUSIONS:
1. I AM NOT SPECIAL;
2. WE ALL NEED EACH OTHER: JUST LIKE THE HOOKS AND LOOPS, WE ARE USELESS ALONE.

BUT NOW, DEAR AMAZONITES, WHAT TO DO WITH HALF THE PRODUCT? AM I MISSING SOMETHING, I.E., DOES IT WORK WITH ONLY HALF? ANYBODY OUT THERE NEED HOOKS?

I received the hook and loop pieces packaged together in one bag, not just one half as some other reviewers have noted. There was a bright orange sticker on the package stating, "THIS IS A SET DO NOT SEPARATE," so I believe that Amazon has taken steps to help ensure that people receive both sides. I would have no problem ordering again should I need more Velcro.

I guess I expected both sides of the velcro so I might actually stick this to the opposite piece. No? What good is Half? I din't find a listing for the second half either when i went back after receiving HALF!!! I am very confused.

I received the hooks, but no loops, so I have a whole lot of rough side and no soft side. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. So true, so true. But, the hooks I received are excellent! I can go around snagging sweaters, cleaning cats, removing fuzzies from my couch. Oh the fun I'll have with half my velcro!!!

I find it hard to believe that after 4+ people gave a bad review about this product being shipped without the "hook" spool ("loop" spool only) that there has been nothing done to correct the issue. I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews more carefully before I placed the order. I, like some of the others, also had to return my shipment for the same reason. Buyer beware, don't waste your time!

I was nervous because of the reviews saying that they only received one side of the Velcro. But looking through the reviews, I found that most of the bad ones were very old and the newer ones seemed mostly good. So I went for it.

I'm glad I did! This Velcro costs something like $3 at Walmart for 3-3" pieces. There are so many uses and this is so much cheaper!

We got this to add Velcro onto my husbands weight belt for work. I'm sure we'll find other uses.

This stuff is great. You can cut it to fit any purpose. I immediately used it to make bicycle pant-leg strips to keep my pants from getting into the chain. Saved half the purchase price right there. Tip: buy the wide (2") stuff, you can easily cut it lengthwise to make a narrower piece.
