The Blue Snowball microphone is a wonderful product. Studio quality through a USB connection! Look closely at this package though, as the headphones are Coby, and anyone concerned enough with quality to purchase a Blue mic, will probably not be happy with the headphones. My fault, I did not look closely enough. The add says studio headphones, and I suppose that is open to interpretation. I would in no way consider Coby to be a studio quality brand--being they are about as far down on the food chain as you can get. Still, for the mic, pop filter and two sets of headphones (you can probably pawn them off on your grandkids for an x-mas/b-day gift), this is a pretty good deal.

The microphone works really well! Clear quality, and the microphone pop filter is a nice added bonus. The headphones are alright. The studio headphones are decent. I'd say that they're an 8.5/10 in quality. The in-ear ones are...not so great. They're like a 5/10. Overall though, I'm very very happy with what I got. I mainly just wanted the microphone, so the pop filter and the headphones are a nice bonus. This microphone rivals most Audio-Technica microphones, and I personally think that it's better than any M-Audio device out there. I highly recommend this package. It also came in less than 48 hours from when I ordered it! I only chose standard shipping, meaning the earliest I would get my product would be Sept. 17th, but instead it came on the 15th, with no damage or anything. Definitely buy this if you're into recording music, voice chatting, or do any sort of microphone work on the computer.

These headphones SUCK! They're cheap ones you can buy, not studio head sets. I got Jammerz Ultra which are a cheap plastic that look like they'll break any minute!I haven't used the pop filter but I love the mic!!!! It's amazing!

if you're looking for a quick set-up to start voice acting, music recording or just talking to your friends on Skype or other voice chatting software.

The microphone has some heft to it and the stand is about the same weight. It has a finish that's so fine I can see my reflection in it.

The pop-filter is of better quality than my old one and blocks out more of those unwanted pops that come from certain words and phrases.

The headphones are in fact JVCs and do come with an adapter for larger sized headphone inputs. The sound quality for the headphones is better than any ten dollar set you could get at Radioshack or Wal-mart.

In all, I was very satisfied with this bundle and would recommend it to any one who plans on doing recordings of some kind and has no equipment for the job.

I'm really liking this microphone so far. I've used it to record some audio (talking), recorded some singing along with an amplified guitar, which is one of the reason's I bought as most of the other microphones that I have bought in the past have never been able to pick up either my acoustic or amplified electric guitar.

So far I haven't experienced any issues with the microphone, however there is one major con:

- The microphone is heavy

I purchased the bundle that came with the following:
- On Stage Stands MS7701 Tripod Boom Microphone Stand
- Blue Microphones Ringer Universal Shockmount for Ball Microphones

While the MS7701 Tripod Boom Microphone Stand & the Universal Shockmount fit together perfectly, the combined weight of the Snowball & Shockmount was a little bit to much weight for the stand. I had to overly tighten everything to keep the boom from sagging over time, position the boom arm & tripod legs in a certain way to keep it from tipping as well. The pop filter works as expected however the bendable arm tends to sag over time & could be better constructed.

If your buying this as is then then you should really have no issue's with recording anything as I think its good buy.
Lastly the headphones (JVC) seemed to work great but I haven't used them as I prefer my Siberia v2 headphones.

Yikes, a bit bigger than I had envisioned ( about the size of a softball), great pick-up w/o distortion and three easy modes to select the orientation, pick-up and filtering. and I ordered it with the uh, spit distortion protector :-)

I bought this Blue Snowball package and I feel it's a great addition to my gaming channel. I use it with the Elgato capture card and works flawlessly together. Or by itself. Highly recommended. I love the look in brushed aluminum, and promise you will too. Happy with my order, only thing negative to say is my pop filter did not look new. It was already open as if it were a return. Still works fine. Overall happy and satisfied! The JVC headphones were nice, but it's not something I truly needed, more of a bonus.
