What can you say about a squeege - start with hard to find in stores and if you find one it will probably be plastic and smaller than 12" wide. This product is exactly as advertised. Fits your hand perfectly and does an excellent job in the shower where it proudly hangs. One swipe down the shower door (3 times down for the width of the door) and you have a perfectly clean water free surface. Since my last squeege died after about 3 years. (got my money's worth out of that one)I've been wiping down the shower door with a towel. Well, if you look at the many washings of towels from that little task - water, soap, dryer time, I'm back to saving both time and money. If this one goes the distance as my last one did - and it looks like it should, I'll be very very happy with it. By the way it looks very nice and has a substantial feel in your hand - I like that (my old one was light weight plastic). This one is a little pricey for a squeege but amortized over the next 3 or 4 years, what's it cost per day - about a cent and a half? Well worth it! A little tip that will help it last longer and work better. When you've finished using it, put it under running water and just with your fingers go down both sides of the length of the plastic blade at the same time (with your thumb and forefinger together) and you'll remove any residual "material" it picked up while it was doing it's job. Then use a cheap tissue and wipe the blade dry. Believe me, that will prolong the life of this critter and it will always do a perfect clean when you next use it.

This is a classic squeegee made for the shower, but don't expect it to work that great on glass, because it's not really designed for glass. True glass squeegees are the type you see with thin profile, harder rubber, the type that can be attached into a longer pole. This is good on tile, but I use a true glass squeegee for my glass doors. Solidly built, nice color.

After a few months of use the blade falls out of the handle. I have to repeatedly crimp it back into place but the metal is too soft, so the repair does not last long. Nice look and feel but poor implementation.

I use this in my custom shower that I finished installing this spring. The walls are made from Swanstone composite material, and I have 3/8" glass shower doors.

When I use this squeegee after taking a shower, I rarely have to go back and clean the shower since there is no water left to leave spots. The included suction cup hanger sticks well to the Swanstone composite walls, and has not fallen down since applying it late May.

I'm a bit disappointed with this squeegee, and here is why:

- While it is made out of stainless steel, the handle's wide metal part is a bit loose, making a slight rattling sound. This might just be the particular one I received but I actually think it could be a design flaw: The handle consists of these two thinner parts with the wider part simply slid over it. At least mine has too much spiel there, and the wide part can be slid up and down but is never quite tight enough, thus causing the rattling.

- Also, the ergonomics of the handle aren't stellar. The Amazon product picture shows only the front side of the squeegee, but on the back side the wide metal part is simply bent around the two thinner "branches" of the handle. It simply does not feel that great to hold.

- I used a squeegee with a 12" blade before and the 8" on this model seem very small in comparison. I usually squeegee my entire shower - glass and tiles and it is a lot more work with an 8" model than with a bigger one. Of course this is not a product flaw, I just wanted to mention it for people who also need one for bigger spaces.

The squeegee action itself seems to be very good, however - a firm blade which removes water well. So there are good things and not so good things about this product. I don't think I would buy it again, but other people might have different priorities.

Matches beautifully with our other bronze fixtures in the shower but the handle (cover part) does not fit tightly on the loop part of the handle. It slides up and down on the handle but it's a minor issue.
