Only 1 of the 3 games in this "collection" deserves to be there: the 1982 (season) NFC Championship Game win...any real Redskins fan would give up vital organs to have that. As for the other two games, WTH? The 2005 Monday night game (Santana Moss catches two BOMBS in the final 4 mins of the 4th quarter) was a great MOMENT, but the game itself stunk; and the 2006 game (potential Dallas game-winning FG blocked at the buzzer & returned by Sean Taylor, leading to Washington's game-winning FG) was pretty good (FYI - it never actually went to OT), but i can think of a few others that DIDN'T occur in the last 5-10 years, which seems to be the time period NFL people consider to be "history":

- 1978 win on Monday Night Football, 9-5, with the President in attendence.
- 1983 win in Dallas, 31-10, when both teams were tied for 1st place in the division (12-2 each)
- 1991 win in Dallas, 33-31, again on MNF (with Emmitt Smith running himself to dehydration in the 1st quarter)

As much as I wanna complain about this set, I feel worse for you Dallas fans: your "greatest rivalries" collection, sucks much worse than this one!!

The only game that fits the title is the 80's NFC Championship game. The other 2 games are snoozers. There's many other Cowboys/Redskins games that were better than those 2. Good quality on all games.

I only purchased this item because of the 1982 NFC Championship Game, the only game from this set worth watching. The NFL needs to get with the program. NFL fans want to see the classics games, The years when Brent Musberger stated "you are looking live" and CBS carried the NFC games. With the 1982 game, I now own the original broadcasts of all 3 consecutive Cowboys Championship losses, 1980-1982. As a ny Giant fan, that's awesome!!!

I don't really have an opinion about game selection, I'm not a fan of either team. I collect certain dvd sets because the NFL network and sports channels are not an option for me. I buy games that represent teams and stadiums that I never/rarely get to see. I like this set, especially (of course) the classic championship game at RFK; gotta love that. I also like the MNF 2005 game, at the old Texas Stadium, not really a greatest game but I like it due to the good television coverage and I dig John Madden (the battles on the line are good too). The game I am not that happy with is the 2006 game at FedEx, due to really tight television coverage by FOX. They almost never show the crowd reactions, except maybe a 2 sec pan shot from long distance, keeping the cameras locked in on the field and side lines (I don't want to repeatedly see Parcells' sour face:I'd rather see the crowd reactions, who are LOUD and into it). In general, I like a football dvd that shows me the whole football experience and includes the crowd and stadium shots during the game. I don't want to see challenges that take 3-5 minutes of the very limited game dvd time as the NFL seems to grudgingly release these games and they are highly edited, usually to 1 hour 50 min-2 hours 10 min. In general, I like this 3 dvd set, it (mostly) shows good editing and good football. The first only is a greatest game, but as a whole, is worth the price of admission (to me, anyway).

I really enjoyed the 3 games on this DVD, being a Redskins fan of long-standing. The choice of Redskins' victories might have been better, as the 14-13 win in 2005 was 58 minutes Cowboys and 2 minutes Redskins, but overall, the games are complete with national broadcasters making the calls. Good if you're a Skins fan, not-so-good if you root for the 'Boys'.

If you're a long-time fan, you'll enjoy this. The 1983 game is a classic, while the 2005 and 2006 games are marked by some huge plays that led to Washington victories in close games.

I do wish they had included another game or two from other eras. Maybe they'll offer that in a different release.

1982 - NFC Championship - Worth the price of the whole thing by itself.
Dexter Manley creaming Danny White
Grant's TD INT return
Mike Nelms' big Kickoff return
Riggo running 50 GUT again and again at the end of the game.

Monday Night Miracle - Other than the last 5 mins of the game, this is a real snoozer. I'll watch Moss' 2 TDs and watch Sean Taylor unload on a Dallas WR, but that's about it.

Hand of God Game - A good game with an exciting finish (BTW, RIP ST21), but not one of the greatest games ever.

The game that really needs to be in this set is the 1972 NFC Championship game. I have contacted NFL films about this omission and was told they don't have it. I don't believe it as they have a 22 minute highlight reel on their website and I am sure they have other film from the game somewhere (ever seen lost treasures of NFL Films??)

Watching the redskins beat the cowboys over and over and over again is more enjoyable than anything you can imagine.
