I didn't pay attention to the dimensions so I was surprised at how big they are. However, they are beautiful and actually match wonderfully with my living room pallette. I've already used them for incense. They were great to stand the incense stick up and had enough space to catch the ashes. Very useful, beautiful ashtrays for my purposes. I will keep these forever, and pass them down to my grandchildren someday!

The lid could use deeper channels and more of them. The cigarette rolls off the lid too easily. The design is nice and having the ashes and butts concealed helps reduce the scent. Maybe a smaller piece might be better, since this one is rather large.
