I have twenty exterior electric outlets and light switches on the outside of my house. Only one was a "double-gang" that needed this device. The others were all "single-gang" and used the corresponding TayMac cover.

I am extremely happy with these. They were very easy to install, look attractive, open effortlessly, and meet the electrical code.

NOTE: Despite the photo at the top of this web page not showing it, these products all now have the word "BELL" appearing on the front of the covers, in very large, raised lettering. I find this distasteful in terms of appearance, and odd, because underneath the cover is a light switch or electric outlet, not a doorbell button. It took me over a year to find 20 of these without the word "BELL". I bought some from Amazon, others from eBay and Home Depot. After finally collecting all that I needed, I removed the 20 cheap plastic covers my home builder had installed, and replaced them with these, resulting in a 100% visual improvement. The old plastic covers were so ugly that I do not want to offend your eyes by uploading pictures here. If you don't care about the "BELL", then go ahead and buy these here. If you do, like me, then good luck finding ones without. I think I bought the last 20.

Disappointed. Was hoping to get an item where the spring loaded covers have a smooth surface as pictured on Amazon but what I got has the word "BELL" on each of the covers. Based on reading other reviews and questions/answers I knew this was possible but I was holding out hope I would get what was pictured because I am trying to match a Taymac single gang cover without the words on the cover surface.

Also, one of the item in the 2 gang box I purchased this for is a Leviton Duplex Style double 3-Way Combination Switch and the cover will not fully close over this switch due to the "ribs" on the underside of the spring loaded covers. I might be able to grind these away but I'm not sure that would even allow enough clearance for the cover to close.

Works great. Easy to install and provides security of both sides of the outlet/switch. I use it outside to controll an outdoor fan and light. This is in an open area and keeps all electrical work dry.

I love this company..their customer service is awesome...I will warn you that this cover is not designed for the Decora Combination Switch (the switch with two rockers)....there is a honeycomb design on the covers...I had to use my Dremel to carve out the metal so the double switch would fit...the product finish looks awesome...you'll love it

I used this in my toddlers' bedroom. When we converted their beds to toddler beds, their newfound freedom found them flipping the lights on. Not helpful at bedtime. So I installed this switch, upside down so it flips down, and they haven't messed with it since. :)

This is a good cover. I had a customer that needed them in brown, and this fit the bill.
I didn't give it 5 stars because it can be a little trouble getting your finger under the lift tab.
Will just have to see how it holds up to the weather.

I have installed numerous electrical items over the years. I bought the TayMac 25in1 as the store did not have the configurations I wanted. The problem is the various attachments, while helpful to interchange whatever switches or outlets you have, are plastic and they have only 2 attachment points on the outside metal covering. After spending a couple of hours getting the plastic plates attached with the screws, the outside cover only has 2 points and easily comes off with the slighest movement, leaving the plastic plate attached over the box. I didnt even open up the 2nd box I had purchased after trying several parts for it from the other box. There has to be a better design than this and I will return the other package and find a better product.
