This is a handsome and very functional shelf for anyone not wishing to install a permanent fixture. It is well-designed with plenty of space and very, very good suction.

When it arrived (in record time) I wanted to be sure it would hold. I tucked away the shipping paper, mounted it and loaded it up with a litre bottle of water, two very large bars of soap, a 16 oz. bottle of shampoo, an 8 oz. tub of dense cream and an oversized, sopping wet face cloth. I gently bumped into it several times while showering over several days to be sure. End of test. I am satisfied it is stable and definitely not going anywhere.

This shelf has adequate space for our two-person collection of stuff, nicely spaced niches for toothbrushes and razors, and well-configured racks. The finish is attractive, the suction is very secure and the design is practical and sound.

I've been reluctant to drill into my tile and have been on the hunt for a suction-mount shelf for some time. This one's perfect.

This shower caddy looked and worked great for the first couple months, but around 6 months it started developing rust. Now, at the 9 month period the suction cups have started failing (crashing loudly and making a mess) and it's now a rusty mess.

I'd only recommend this if you're okay with a relatively short functional life.

I received this item about a week ago and have found it to be very effective. I have a bathtub with a complete surround of something like fiberglass, perfectly smooth. The instant I placed the four suction cups close to this surface they grabbed hold and supported the entire device very firmly. I am now keeping three large 24 oz.bottles of shampoo, hair conditioner, and body wash on the shelves and there is no evidence of the suction giving way. The one purchaser who reports having trouble with the suction supporting the shelves probably placed it on an irregular surface. Before purchasing make sure you have the necessary flat, smooth surface necessary for effective suction.

I've had this shelf for about 3 months now and it has been working just as I hoped. I was tired of the look my shower caddy made hanging from the shower head. It also took up too much room and was bulky looking in front with all the bottles of shampoo and such. This chrome shelf looked good in the pictures shown and I could place it anywhere, but I was skeptical about how the suction cups would hold this shelf up. I'm glad to say they work great. There are three bottles of hair products, razors, wash towels constantly on my shelf and it hasn't slipped or moved one bit since I installed it. I'm very happy with the look and its performance so far.

The shower caddy is well made. The only problem you may have is that the suction cups will slip and the caddy will fall if placed on tile or even glass that is getting a continual spray of water from the shower. I finally had to place the caddy high in the shower where the water would not reach the suction cups that hold it in place.

I have one of those hand held showers so a traditional over the showerhead caddy would not work. This was the perfect solution. It easily holds heavy bottles and provides hooks on the sides for holding brushes, sponge thingy (whatever that's called), razors, etc. on the bottom there is a loop provided for hanging wash clothes or bras/underwear for drying.

Why only 4 stars you ask? Well, while the suction cups hold with incredible power, only two of the ones that came with my unit are 100%. One of them, the lip of one side of the cup is slightly rolled up so it is only pressing down with around 80% force. The one on the bottom right is severely warped and probably provides about %40 power. Since the suction cups are humongous (2-2.5 inches!!), they still lock the unit in place so I'm keeping it. Also, they sell suction cups at HD if this one ever becomes unusable.

A side about about mounting...make sure the area will by mounting this is clean and dry. Second, wipe the inside of the suction cups with a damp rag before placing on the wall. This will help the sucking power.

I bought this because we'd managed to fill up our over-the-shower-head basket (we tend to buy large bottles of shampoo and conditioner). The shelf was smaller than I'd anticipated, but I'm sure if I'd read the measurements on here and then gotten out a tape measure, it wouldn't have been a surprise. This shelf is VERY sturdy. It has 4 large suction cups of which I can only use 2 fully. My shower has 4" tiles and there's no way to position the shelf so that 2 of the suction cups don't go over a line of grout. Despite this, it supports my liter bottles of shampoo and conditioner in addition to all that other girly stuff we women have to have for showering and has never slipped. I like that it has the little holes in the top shelf so I can put my conditioner bottle in upside down, although the shelf is small enough that my liter bottle doesn't fit straight up and down. Overall, it's a good quality product and I'm glad I bought it rather than something cheap at a big box store!
