I just stumbled onto this rack on accident while perusing rear rack options on Amazon, and after looking at the specs, decided to give it a try. Wow. I am so glad that I did! This is quite possibly the best rear rack I've ever used on any bicycle, and I'm not one normally given to superlatives. Here's what I like:

- Relatively light weight
- Solid feel
- Plenty of capacity. Depending on whom you believe, it can hold 110 to 150 pounds of weight. I wouldn't doubt the higher number, if it is mounted directly to the axle.
- Completely adjustable, both in height above the wheel and distance back from the rear seat post mount. This allowed me to put it in a far-enough back position on my compact Giant Prodigy that I could carry full-size Ortlieb panniers without kicking them on the backstroke with my heels.
- Those nice loops to keep the panniers from toeing in towards the wheel at the rear.
- Good price, for all of the above, given the alternatives.
- Good hardware quality and in general, well-built.

All in all, it's a winner.

This Axiom Journey Adj rack seems very well made and solid. Nice flat black finish. Easily adjustable long rods and what really impressed me is the use of what seems to be titanium hardware (bolts and screws).
This is a large, heavy duty piece of equipment, seems more suited to large bicycles. In fact, this is the only rear rack that would fit and be suitable for my Diamondback Edgewood hybrid 700c wheels, 17" frame. Even though this bike has the brazed on nuts to attach a rack, they are pretty useless so I used the Axiom in conjunction with a Sunlite monostay adapter for a neat, clean and easy installation. The Journey Adjustable is designed to sit further back over the rear wheel, exactly what I was looking for, unlike other racks that get positioned too close to the seat or under the seat.
Only a few minor grips: 1.the adjustment bolts (for the rods) were incredibly tight as shipped from the factory...had to use leverage on the Allen head wrenches but thankfully the titanium didn't strip and 2. the removable light holder in the rear could have been better designed.
I'll try and post some pictures.
Amazon provided fast shipment and packaged/protected well.

One-Sentence Summary: This is simply the best bicycle rack I have seen for under $100, if you are in doubt or have not done much research you will not be disappointed at all.

This is a great rack, and I regret putting a lower-quality one on my bicycle because I had not heard of Axiom. I first encountered this product while helping a friend install it on his Fuji road bike. I immediately noticed that the construction, welding, and finish on this rack were much better than on my ~$35 Topeak Explorer rack, and seemed better than any other sub-$100 rack I have seen. The rack is also rated for 75 pounds, which is higher than any other sub-$100 rack I have seen. While I have not measured this scientifically, my friend places some pretty heavy stuff on this rack and it inspires way more confidence than my Topeak Explorer. I would not hesitate to load 75 pounds on this rack at all, which I would never do with my own rack.

However, the best feature of this rack by far is its "versalock" tubular seat stay mounts. These mounts are much stronger than the flexible brackets provided with other frames in this class. They are also much easier to install, as they do not require bending, and can readily be locked into place with only one hand using an ordinary Allen key. For those who are not very mechanically inclined or do not have strong hands, this will make your installation much easier. This feature alone sets the Axiom racks above all other racks in this price class. These seat stay mounts also bend and deflect less than the traditional flat bendable brackets supplied with my Topeak, and seem much stronger. They would also make it much easier to move the rack between bicycles, as nothing is bent or otherwise altered during installation. Simply releasing the Allen screws would return the mount to its original condition.

The product description says this rack fits 24" ~ 29" bike. However, the rack is about 2" above wheel at its lowest adjustment when I install it to a 24" bike.

And another downside is the filmsy rear reflector bracket. It is a bent piece of aluminum with no reinforcement. I anticipate it to bend out of position pretty soon. Then I will fabricate replacement with a stainless steel strap.

Other than that, the pipe is sturdy and the welding is of good quality. And the forward stay installation worked easier than I concerned.

This carrier is over built for every day use. Welds are clean and smooth. Finish is excellent. Extremely strong and large diameter rod was used. I bought two folding baskets to attach and I had to modify the mounting system to fit the larger diameter rods they used. Not a hard thing to do and the local hardware store had all I needed. I could have just used the large zip ties but opted for a more secure mounting. Also, and I found no mention of this anywhere, this needs two small threaded holes to mount the adjustable front rods to. I ended up going to the local bike store and buying a seat clamp that had the holes tapped into the sides. Some bikes already have inserts in the frame tubes, some don't.
