A friend had a can crusher in his garage and we decided it was a must have for our home so I looked at several and got this one. It wasn't quite as heavy duty as I think I would like, but after a month of heavy usage, it is holding up nicely. I agree with other recommendations on making sure you screw it into a stud. We have a wide doorway and it is mounted in the door frame very securely. One note though, the handle doesn't always stay up after use. Crushes can easily, I always start my can with a tiny dent in the sides and place it so the can will not want to squirt out. With the dent to the left or right, it always crushes straight down. For the price the crusher is a very good deal. Shipping was very fast. I would make the purchase again.

This is a good product though at times the can will slip out while crushing. I cut a small piece of rubber and glued it to the bottom of the crusher. It works well now with no slipping.

This crusher was shipped and delivered on time. It is made of a durable steel, you cant hang off of the handle but that's not what its for, right? I suspect it will last quite a long time, the only thing that I can say that was not expected, the color is like a primer gray and not the flashy red you see in the pic. The red would have better so my drunk friends would stop asking where it is, but it works like a charm and the price was right. All you need to do to extend the life of the product is to just pinch the can on each side while you slide it in the holster, this allows the can to crush without putting an unnecessary bind on the handle.
