As a gigging musician you can never have too many mic clips. I have generally picked up On Stage clips (which are more than double the price of these) and I can say that these are not as flimsy and feel a lot more solid. I have stepped on some already after a show and they have not broken. I plan on this being my go to mic clip, for price and quality. I use these for my Shure SM-58's, PG-58's and Sennheiser e835's and they fit perfectly with these, not too small at all. They fit standard mics.

i cant even count how many mic clips have shattered because a mic was loose and i jammed it further in and it cracked. these seem better built and a bit more flexible. like anything, it will depend how long they last. unlike a lot of premium mic clips, these DONT have the metal threaded insert, so you are just screwing into plastic. if your stands stay where they are most of the time, probably fine. if you break everything down and put it back up, i would buy sturdier clips.

Quite easily the most often overlooked item to keep backups of by local musicians, this 10 pack takes care of that oversight without breaking the bank. Quality is good and the price is fair, but getting 10 of them at once makes it a no brainer to have extras ready for when one breaks at the next gig.

Having broken about 4 "quality" mic clips in as many months, at about 6 bucks a pop, I decided trying these and just figure they're disposable. So far, so good, none have broken yet. Quality seems decent. Fits standard (sm58's and such) mics fine, friction seems right, set screw adjusted properly. They do no have a brass insert for the threads, don't see any big problem there yet. I've yet to ever use the 3/8" adapter some come with.
I'll follow up in a couple of months if these start breaking.

I've been getting these for about 6 years as my company grows.
I can't recall ever breaking one.
just need to tighten the clip to mount screws from time to time .... two Dime's can do the trick or keys, butter knife, spoon, pocket knife even a screwdriver if that's your style.

These fit SM-58/57 microphones well. The base does not have the brass thread insert, so not quite as durable as the sure but the pricing is very good and most often these types of things are lost more often than the threads wearing out.

They're okay. These are 100% plastic, including the threading. A little too small for vocal mics, it's almost amusing watching a singer try and pull a mic out of this clip without disconnecting the cable. Good for emergencies and freebies to friends or the local cafe sound set up.
