When my Himalayan cat developed stage three kidney disease, his potassium levels crashed. My naturopathic veterinarian suggested this product and it is so much easier to give than the huge potassium pill that my traditional vet prescribed. It has a "yummy" fish flavor so my cat likes to take this medicine and it's great to have one less pill to have to make him deal with. Daily subcutaneous fluids, a phosphorous binder, and this product have saved my cats life. He is thriving and his potassium levels have stayed level for the last six months. I'm so grateful for this product!!

It definitely helps them maintain their red blood count (which renal insufficiency can affect) in the normal range and support their overall health. I have used this product for over two years now; I can only recommend it highly.
