We use to buy 1- 2 cases monthly from Sam's wholesale. Not any longer.

When we inquired about why there was no San Pellegrino at the front desk they directed us to a manager.
The local Sam's Wholesale Club manager said " We will no longer be carrying the San Pellegrino product due to the need for floor space for the more popular "healthier" flavored waters, & Sports drinks."
"HEALTHY? " Ah, you mean sugary drinks.

With the auto delivery by Amazon it comes right to our front door,no hassle, no lifting & loading in & out of cart, car then into house. We are able to have it delivered on or before set delivery date, if we still have some we can even put a hold on it till the next delivery date. Amazon is flexible. We have found the less we need to go to the store the less we spend on impulse buys also. We buy what is needed & that's it!

The product itself is the best mineral water around. That is easy, But if you order from Amazon, DON'T order anything else at the same time. If they try to package your additional items with the Pellegrino, they will use a box that is too big for the 24 bottles (which are wrapped in a heavy plastic) and try to cushion it with those air filled thing or worse, a huge amount of brown kraft paper. None of this will work, and you will have a mess on your hands when the delivery guys are through with it.

Update: June 2014. Amazon has a box that fits this product perfectly now and they use it all the time! I still don't order with anything else, but no issues in packaging. I am not sure how well other vendors might package this -- but Amazon has it nailed now.

In a world full of artificial sweeteners and energy drinks, San Pellegrino is so fresh and a guilt free drink to enjoy. I would give this item a five star review but I would contend that it is a bit overpriced. At the Grocery, I can get a one liter bottle for 1.99 so I would hope Amazon will come out with a larger size. In addition, because of the dangers associated with plastic, I would love if they offered a glass option. That being said, my Pellegrino arrived safely and right at my door and the bottles were convenient to pack on the go and fit in the fridge.

San Pellegrino sparkling water is my favorite day-to-day beverage, and I go through a lot of it. The 24 pack isn't available locally, so I was glad to find it on Amazon, and when I work out the price-per-bottle, it's nearly 15% less expensive than purchasing locally.

Only issue is that the vendor is sometimes a bit slow to ship (last time, was nearly two weeks between order and delivery), and once we received a package that was somewhat "flat" compared to what we're used to.

Otherwise, this is a great convenience and a fair price, and we intend to keep ordering.

Amazon raised the price from $27.69 to $42.20, a 50% price increase (free prime delivery for both). I just bought it from a national office supply retail chain for $23.99 (free delivery for 3 cases). Not sure why you raised the price 50%. Five stars for the quality of Pellegrino.

1/20/14 update: This morning Amazon lowered the price back to $27.69 and then in the evening raised the price to $39.03. I'm not sure why Amazon keeps changing the price, but I feel sorry for those who buy it at the wrong time of the day at the higher price.

I am not doubting that I am only telling you about my personal experience which was that the sparkling nature of the water gave me terrible burps and stomach bloating . My research recently shows that people prone to bloating and gastrointestinal pains should not be drinking carbonated drinks of any kind do your own research what works for someone may not work for someone else
