My daughter was desperate for something to fancy-up her room, which is due for an update from its nursery wall scheme. Being just slightly obsessed with princesses, she very much wanted a canopy bed. Well, we certainly weren't going to rush out and drop that much money to replace her perfectly good bed, and her room was set up in such a way that a four corner canopy set up would obscure the overhead lighting. This canopy was the perfect solution - thanks for bringing it, Santa!

Install was easy. 10 seconds with a drill to sink the plastic anchor into the ceiling, then screw in the provided hook. The canopy came out of its bag perfectly - no wrinkles, and the jewels, feathers and moons were all firmly attached (and still are). The color scheme is a nice, light purple. There's probably a fancy name for it, but being a guy, to me, it's...purple. On a full-sized bed, it will cover a bit more than the top third of the bed if you have 8 foot ceilings. It has plenty of length to drape to the floor, which brings us to...

What surprised me was its durability. It really is made out of good-quality mosquito netting. About a week after putting it up, I was vacuuming the girl-spawn's room when I heard the dreaded grinding noise that told me that the vacuum cleaner decided to eat the canopy that was gathered on the floor (silly me, too busy listening to my tunes, not watching what I was doing!)

In a panic, I shut off the vacuum to inspect the damage. Despite having to yank the canopy netting out from around the cleaner's rotating bristles, there wasn't a single sign of damage. Not one tear or pull. This year's favorite Christmas present, safe!

Color me impressed. I think the color of impressed is...purple.

This is a beautiful canopy. My 6 year-old daughter adores it. It is very well made with cute little plastic "gemstones" that hang down from the top of the canopy. It is also very whimsical with silver moons and stars around the top. There are fluffy pink feathers around the top for an added touch. I shopped around and actually bought a less-expensive canopy for her room first. It was just cheap-looking and did not match the decor of her pink room. This one was absolutely perfect! It was worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

I have twin 2 1/2 year old daughters that love princesses. The Fantasy Bed Canopies I purchased for them are perfect. For the price, the quality is truly nice- a bright yet not garish pink with pretty little stars. They were beyond excited to lay in their beds pretending to be sleeping princesses.

This is haning above our daughter's bed - to make it her princess castle room. She loves it, but we had to push it behind the head board so she wouldn't tear the fabric or get caught up in it during the night.

It is a good price - just make sure you have a way to secure it so your child doesn't rip te fabric or get tangled up in it.

This canopy is absolutely beautiful! My daughter loves her new Princess bed! It comes with a hook to hang it from the ceiling. I chose to use a larger hook and a drywall anchor to hang ours and it worked well. Looks fabulous and thumbs up from the 3-year-old!

This goes great at the head of the bed. Just be certain you have it hooked properly in the ceiling because the bottom tends to get tangled up in the pillows and blanket sometimes. I am trying to find a way to keep the part that drapes down, to span away from the pillows and blankets, so it won't get pulled out of the ceiling. I do love it it is just very limiting to how far it can dangle before it gets caught up in the comforter and pillows when my granddaughter is on the bed.
