This is the perfect tool to clean your lawn tractor's mower deck....

Note that unlike the generic photo, this model has finer wire and they're not knotted like that. ((I had to get the model number from dewalt's web site rather than relying on the photo)) I wouldn't want to use one as coarse as shown.

***EDITED*** Sometime between when I wrote this and March 2012, the photo was corrected to show the finer, parallel wires. Not twisted into bunches like other models. Let's hope they keep the correct photo.

***EDITED AGAIN*** as of Jan 2013 the picture is wrong again. You want this item, model 49101, and you can look at a picture on Dewalt's website.

You MUST use a dust mask, hearing protection, and a FULL FACE SHIELD... those wires fly off.

Bought 3 cup wire brushes of different makes in the same order for use on my Milwaukee 4" angle grinder. This one is a piece of junk, not worthy of the DeWalt brand name. It is hopelessly out of balance. It is skimpy, both in size and the number of bristles. Made in China, it is not a patch on the Weiler, made in the USA. Much inferior to the Hot Max, also made in China. I am returning it for credit.

After slaving for days with a plastic scrub brush and water, I bought this to remove the remaining plaster residue and "chunks" left clinging to a really old brick wall after plaster removal. It made short work of the project and didn't hurt or compromise the mortar in the joints themselves. I'll still use the scrub brush and water to clean up the bricks up shiny, but this tool saved me weeks of work doing it the hard way. Note: although this wire brush did not phase the mortar in the brick wall, I'm pretty sure we have the newer type mortar mix versus the old lime-and-sand type, which probably would NOT stand up to the 9000 rpms of this tool, being a softer mortar than masonry cement.

Like the previous reviewer mentions, you need to get your face covered, eyes protected and if you are using it in any type of dusty conditions, a NIOSH approved filtration mask.

*sigh* Off topic: Looks like Amazon still thinks Knoxville is in Tunisia...
