    so far so good they seem like good quality I buy a new pair of boots every six months .usually the first thing to wear out is the seam between the soles and the leather the plastic material cracks. these boot it appears to be leather. if these boots last longer I will buy them next time

    These are a bit snug. I would recommend sizing up. They also cause my socks to bunch up under the ball of my foot. No other boots I have ever had cause that. I have to sit down, unlace and pull socks up then re-lace... numerous times a day.

    Great boots. I hope they last longer than the others since my husband is very hard on boots working on steep forested slopes.

    3-3-15 update, these boots fell apart after less than 1 month wear, just when they starting to be broken in and comfortable. Sending them back for a new pair to try.

    I always wore slip on work boots. I only wear lace ups when doing construction type work. This is the first pair of boots I've ever bought that fit perfectly right out of the box. There was virtually no break in time needed. I have wore them every day for two weeks now and don't have a single complaint. I bought them because the price was right, and I am in the process of transferring from an office job to a wildland fire crew with the US Forest Service. I will buy a higher end pair of boots once I start on the crew, but for now while I'm still in the office, these are perfect for me to help with getting used to the higher heel and different feel of support this style of boot offers. I definitely recommend these boots and will more than likely purchase again.
