This is a nice pouch, seems well made and the snap works well for me.
All the elastics band holders seem well spaced and tight enough.

It holds my .308 & .243 nicely and I'm sure many others. The .300
Win. Mag. are a bit tight (not in the elastic) but just positioning them
so the two side fold-up nice and the bullet tips are not being rubbed
on the rims on the other side of the pouch.

I think it will work for anything .30-06 or under but bigger rounds may
need a bigger pouch. Give it a try, it's only $7.00 !!

Great,
William Baxter

The only reasons this didnt get a 5 star are the fact it doesnt come in multicam and the backs of the straps are velcro. Normally the velcro wouldnt be a problem but when you put it on a Tactical Assault Gear Phalanx Chest Rig Type 4 Fury in Multicam it has the loop portion of the hook and loop on top and I didnt want to just velcro my rifle cartridges to my chest. So it was a bit of a pain to put on and it sticks out like a sore thumb on my chest rig. Alas there are no 30-06 compatible multicam cartridge carriers available. Plenty for 308 but I have a 30-06 which is about 1/4" longer so I had to go with this or one in black and this is at least a type of camo.

It holds my 30-06, but 2 of the slots along the outer edge are about 5 times looser than the other slots. I can visually tell they are bigger loops than the others ones. I think if I used smaller cartridges they would fall out...

Good for small-to-medium centerfire rifle rounds... a bit too small for magnums. I bought this to use with .308 Win and .300 Weatherby Mag. It fits the .308 well, but the .300 Wby is too stout to fit all the rounds. I was able to get the .300's in there if I staggered them, leaving every other slot empty. This means only half capacity. However, it still suits my needs, as it is unlikely I would require more than 7-8 rounds of .300 Wby on a day hunt. Build quality appears good and the fastener is quiet to open. The belt straps have snaps and a Velcro backing. Overall, I am happy.

It seems to be build well enough and holds the ammo well. I guess the elastic that holds the shell is a little wide for my 22-250 shells so it is hard to tell if the shell has been fired or not. Not a big deal and with a larger shell it would not be an issue at all I believe. It does hold the shells snuggly enough so that they do not slip around in the holder. The one weakness is that plastic clips. Mine is very difficult to snap closed and the adjuster really does not hold its place so I had to double it over to keep it from sliding off. I think that if you were going to wear this on a belt while hunting the clip set up might really be a problem. I carry it in a pocket or pack so even if it were to unsnap it would not be a problem. On the outside going through brush I am not sure you will find all your shells still in the case at the end of the day.

This is a nice, compact, and well made cartridge pouch. I got two, for 45-70 and .308 and they fit well.

I needed something to hold my ammo rather than having it rattle around in my pack or my pocket. This pouch was compact simple and effective. The buckle looks adequate but I might prefer and might modify mine to close and open with a hook and loop velcro type tab to reduce bulk.

This will work for my rifle cartridges and for my larger pistol 357/38 and 44 mag hunts.
